LeBron James of the Miami Heat will be making another return to Cleveland to face his former team, the Cavaliers, on Wednesday night.

When James takes the court, there are going to be a group of Cavaliers’ fans led by Josh Raggi, are putting a “Come Home LeBron” plan into action. They already have accounts on Twitter (@ComeHomeLebron) and Instagram (comehomelebron216) and a web site (ComeHomeLeBron.com).

They have apparently been inspired by James Blair, who rushed onto the court last season when James was in town.

“Last year when James Blair stormed the court, I was watching at home,” Raggi told Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal. “My partner was at the game, sitting two rows in front of James Blair. We saw the fans’ reaction, overwhelming. We got to talking, ‘We might have something here.’ ”

The group will hand out 2,000 “Come Home LeBron” shirts before Wednesday’s game.

“We realize LeBron had a point. He didn’t have the supporting cast here he needed to win,” Raggi said. “We have a young and vibrant team. We have the supporting cast. I believe that it’s 50-50 he leaves Miami. But if he leaves Miami, we think he’s coming to Cleveland.”

The Cavaliers and Heat will tip-off at 7:30 pm EST and the game is on ESPN.
