When a team happens to be looking for a head coach, they’re looking for someone who their players can respect.
Not every player in the league will get along with their head coach, but a good portion of them respect the man calling the shots on the sidelines. Some players are even very good friends with their coach and develop some strong relationships.
Some that last for the rest of their lives. But then there are those who absolutely despise whomever happens to be leading the pack. It’s usually those who have a problem with authority or a coach who is just fed up with how someone is acting.
Former Seattle Seahawk and Detroit Lion defensive end Lawrence Jackson posted on Twitter this morning that he doesn’t respect current head coach Jim Schwartz.
I’ll post one where he mentions how he doesn’t have a ton of respect for him, but I don’t think I’m allow to throw out those that followed the first tweet as a fan asked him to explain.
Here’s a look at a few tweets he sent out.
“@sanman20: @LoJackson94 what do you have against Jim?” I don't have anything against him. I just don't have a ton of respect for him.

@sanman20 not everyone is held to the same standard and things are done because he wants to do them not because they're good for the team.

Interesting words from Jackson. I wonder if Schwartz will respond?
