The Seattle Seahawks have had a rough couple of weeks dealing with injuries and suspensions, suspensions that wide receiver Golden Tate appeared to be torn over. On one hand, Tate took some small shots towards his recently suspended teammates (Brandon Browner, Walter Thurmond) though quickly flipped suggesting how bad they need them.

He also seemingly defended them as Tate was less than thrilled with some of the comments he saw on social media, suggesting that some fans ‘talk like Tarzan, but they really look like Jane’:

"“They talk like Tarzan, but they really look like Jane,” Tate said of the Twitter commenters. “They write things they would never say to your face. But without these two guys [Thurmond and Browner], we still need the 12s to show Monday night, and we need to show up.”"

I’m not exactly sure where Tate was attempting to go with that, other than suggesting some people are absurdly rude to athletes on social media which is completely true.

Still – was he irritated at comments directed towards him? Comments directed towards Browner and Thurmond? Or just in general?
