It appears that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have something special in rookie quarterback Matt Glennon.

This team has faced a lot of challenges this season, mainly in their locker room. With Josh Freeman and their MRSA outbreaks getting some media attention, this team is slowly getting things together.

It’s no surprise that Glennon was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month considering how well he’s played in his first eight games as a professional quarterback. I figured this team would be competing for the division along with the Carolina Panthers, but it hasn’t necessarily worked out that way.

Right now the Buccaneers are sitting at 3-8 in the division, surprisingly ahead of the Atlanta Falcons. They’re coming off a huge victory over the Detroit Tigers who sit at the top of the division with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North.

Glennon put up some outstanding numbers this month as he’s thrown for seven touchdowns, one touchdown and 785 passing yards.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently 3-1 in the month of November after failing to pick up a win prior to this month.
