Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno didn’t partake in practice Wednesday afternoon and given the fact that he was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot after Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, his status for this weekend was highly questionable.

Thankfully though, it’s looking like Moreno will have an opportunity to play in the heavily hyped matchup between the Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs as the running back returned to practice on Thursday.

"Knowshon Moreno at practice"

There was no mention as to how involved Moreno was at practice, but even returning should at least give him a questionable tag.

Had Moreno missed practice today, his status for Sunday’s tilt would have been put in serious doubt but the return to the practice field today should at minimum a game-time decision.

If Moreno isn’t able to go or is put on limited snap count with what is being called a ‘severe bone bruise’, Montee Ball stands to handle the majority of playing time.
