The Pittsburgh Steelers were watching their hopes of coming up with a big divisional win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night come to an end. Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones was streaking down the field for a big kickoff return, when Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin tried to get a little trick and interfered with the play.

Tomlin stepped out onto the field and got in Jones’ way, which caused him to take a step inside and ultimately get pulled down from behind.

How Tomlin wasn’t called for a penalty is beyond me, but he certainly did the trick. You can catch a GIF of Tomlin’s interference below:

Pittsburgh’s defense went on to hold the Ravens to yet another field goal attempt, so the trickery by Tomlin ultimately paid off.

We will have to see whether or not the NFL reviews the situation and hands down a minor fine for stepping out onto the field and interfering, but for now Tomlin has received the result that he had wanted.
