Many believed that the Dallas Cowboys, who were favored by more than a touchdown entering their Thanksgiving Day game, would be able to easily handle the Oakland Raiders on Thursday afternoon, but undrafted free agent rookie Matt McGloin has stepped up in a big way and helped lead the Raiders into the half with a one touchdown lead, 21-14.

The game got off to a rough start for the Cowboys, who fumbled the opening kickoff which the Raiders returned for a touchdown to jump off to the early lead.

Dallas was able to get on the board after recovering a fumbled snap from the Raiders after McGloin pulled out from under center too early, as they punched the ball in with a short run from DeMarco Murray. The Raiders extended their lead by two touchdowns before Dallas went on a drive in the final minutes to score one more touchdown before the half as Murray punched in his second score of the night.

We now get to suffer through a halftime performance from Selena Gomez, before the two teams resume playing.
