On Thanksgiving night, you can only hope to see the best football games possible. Are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens two of the best teams in the NFL? No, they’re not. But, are they two of the more exciting teams to watch play one another on a yearly basis? Yes, indeed they are.
These AFC North rivals never have a dull moment against one another when they take the field. That’s why it was such a great idea to schedule them against each other on Turkey Day.
Things really got off to an interesting start, too.
Not even two minutes into the game, the Steelers just ran a simple play right up the middle. But, with these two, there’s generally nothing “simple” about anything.
After the play was over, a riot nearly ensued between the two teams:
That’s exactly the stuff that we expect from these too, and they don’t even disappoint on a holiday such as Thanksgiving.
Call me selfish, but I’m thankful that these two hate each other, for reasons like this.
