During the Monday Night Football match up in Week 12 between the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins, 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith showed off some quality Street Fighter moves when he lifted his leg directly into the man region of Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.

It was one of many hits that Griffin took during the game, but when Smith swung his leg up and dropped Griffin with a kick to the nuts, it looked like one of the most painful.

Here is a look at the shot to the groin for those who missed it or simply don’t remember:

It certainly looked like a blow that could have resulted in some punishment from the NFL, but it turns out that it looked unintentional enough to please Roger Goodell and company.

According to Pro Football Talk, the league office has said that they will not be fining Smith for his low blow on Monday night.

The contact may have left Griffin in a heap of pain, but Smith’s wallet won’t be getting any lighter.
