The Minnesota Vikings are set to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon, which would be a great match up for star running back Adrian Peterson if he is healthy. Peterson has been dealing with a nagging groin injury throughout the past few weeks, but he said on Friday that his groin is “doing fine” and there is “no doubt” he will play in the NFC North match up.

From Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press:

There was never really any doubt that Peterson would miss the game, considering he has suited up for all of the Vikings outings this season.

The only question remaining is how many yards and touchdowns he will be able to rack up on Sunday afternoon as he looks to abuse the league-worst rushing defense early and often. It could get ugly if Peterson gets rolling quickly, so the Bears need to make sure they stack up the box from the jump.
