The Carolina Panthers are riding a seven game win streak into this game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently on a three game win streak of their won. Carolina could catch the New Orleans Saints this weekend if everything goes well, that starts with beating the Bucs. The Panthers would also need the Saints to lose to the Seattle Seahawks as well.

“I think it has a lot to do with us growing up,” Rivera said, via ESPN. “It’s the growth of our quarterback and our offensive unit and the growth of our defensive unit as well.”

“These guys understand what it takes now,” Rivera added, “and they’re still learning and growing and getting better and better.”

For the Bucs, they’ll rely heavily on rookie quarterback Mike Glennon.

“He’s playing at a higher level than you would expect of a rookie,” Bucs head coach Greg Schiano said.
