The New England Patriots are in a tough spot today. They’re facing a Houston Texans team that has had one of the more frustrating campaigns of anyone else. They’re a team that’s searching for respect and are going to give the Pats all they can handle.

So far, they have done just that.

But, this is Tom Brady and the Patriots so they’re going to fight back no matter what, and look to make the Texans’ year that much more miserable.

Early in the third quarter, Houston was actually clinging to a lead at 17-7. However, the Patriots quickly scored to cut it to 17-14, and then Tom Brady and the passing game struck.

Just a few minutes after that, Brady found running back Shane Vereen out of the backfield for the nine-yard score and the lead, their first of the game:

Now the question is whether or not the Patriots can build up the lead even more against this Houston team that just won’t seem to quit today. With the way the Texans’ season has gone, that’s probably an easy task.
