2014 NFL Draft order: Texans take over No. 1 pick

Week 13 of the NFL regular season is almost in the books, which means we have a clearer understanding of how the current draft order is shaking up. While the Jacksonville Jaguars had a strong hold of the No. 1 pick for the past few weeks, the Houston Texans have finally taken over the top spot after Sunday’s action.

The Jaguars slide to No. 2, while the St. Louis Rams could find themselves selecting in the top three thanks to their trade with the Washington Redskins, which led to Robert Griffin III heading to the nation’s capital. The Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers round out the current top five.

Where is your team currently set to select in next year’s draft?

I do hope Ireland is somewhere else when the draft begins next April. Vernon has done a great job this yr and is beginning to blossom, ( poor choice of words ). So with Vernon progressing and of course theres always Wake chasing down QBs, so what to do with Jordan? Is he a draft bust? Why is Jordan not playing full time? Why did Ireland take Jordan with the 3rd pk of the first rd? Didn’t the Dolphins talent evaluators know that Vernon would preform like he has? If another NFL team had drafted Jordan, do you really believe Jordan would be sitting the bench? I understand why Ireland drafted Jordan but what I don’t understand is why doesn’t Jordan play every defensive pass play, if fact he’s getting better at stopping the run and can cover any TE in the league, so why TF isn’t he playing more. I don’t believe for one minute that Jordan isn’t smart enough to learn this defense in a few weeks, but he doesn’t play but 10-15 snaps a game. The best teacher is experience,,,,,,,,,,,,Jeffery are you listening? Everybody thinks being a GM is a hard job,,,gotta know things,,,gotta know players, gotta know talent,,,So what TF does Jeffery know. Yeah, he apparently knows how to waste draft picks,,,
