If you were unaware, San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis caught a pass and was running toward the side line when it appeared that Rams safety T.J. McDonald grabbed him by his private part and tackled him hanging on. Davis has already addressed the tackle once after the game.

“I’m still thinking about it. I can feel it,” Davis said, via the 49ers’ website. “It was a crossing route, I made the play and as soon as I got my hands on the ball, [McDonald] was grabbing me right there in that space, that area, and I kept telling him, ‘Let go, get off me, get off me,’ and he wouldn’t let me go.”

Now, Davis won’t let it go and he is still taking about the groin tackle.

I do have to say that Davis might be right. Tackling someone by his private parts should be illegal and I imagine it is incredibly painful. We’ll see if the NFL responds to his pleas.
