Last week, Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe was hospitalized after suffering from seizure like symptoms and he was unable to travel with the team to their Week 13 match up against the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, there is some good news.

Broncos head coach John Fox announced that Wolfe was released from the hospital, but there is still no timetable for his return and the doctors will continue to run tests.

“They’re still running tests,” Fox said, via Mike Klis of the Denver Post. “I think they’re still trying to get a handle on what happened and compare it. I’m not saying it’s nearly the same, but some of the same things we went through with Tracy Porter a year ago. Right now we’re not thinking about his availability or any of that stuff. We’re just concerned about his health, and medical people are working through that as we speak.”

While Fox won’t say when Wolfe will be able to suit up again, there is a belief that he could be ready to go in the postseason. However, that could always change.

What we do know is that he is not expected to play in this week’s game.
