The Boston Celtics held off the Milwaukee Bucks in what was an extremely exciting fourth quarter (won by the Celtics 39-37) to earn a 108-100 victory and move into first place in the Atlantic Division despite an 8-12 record.

The loss dropped the Bucks to 3-14.

Celtics’ guard Jordan Crawford led all scorers with 25 points on eight-of-14 shooting.

O.J. Mayo paced the Bucks with 19 points while Brandon Knight chipped in 14.

Both teams shot lights out from beyond the arc. The Bucks went eight-of-18 (44.0%) while the Celtics knocked down 11 of their 24 three-point attempts (45.8%).  Although the Celtics’ hit three more free throws and grabbed seven more rebounds, outscoring the Bucks by nine from three was the difference in the game.

Crawford was one of six Celtics in double figures. He was joined by all four of his fellow starters; Jeff Green (18), Brandon Bass (16), Avery Bradley (15) and Jared Sullinger (12). Plus, Courtney Lee had 11 points in just 16 minutes off of the bench.

(Speaking of Bradley, if you haven’t seen hi insane shot, click here).

The Celtics will get back to work Friday night when they host the Denver Nuggets while the Bucks will be back in action Wednesday when they host the Detroit Pistons.
