In what has become a trend over the past few weeks, Detroit Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson has sat out of the team’s Tuesday practice. Johnson has been dealing with a knee injury and was rested in the final quarter of the team’s Thanksgiving Day match up with a back injury, so it comes as no surprise that the team has decided to rest him on Tuesday.

If you are concerned about Johnson’s availability for next week’s big day, have no fear. He should be available for the team’s Week 14 match up and help you out in the fantasy football playoffs.

Expect Johnson to return to practice tomorrow on a limited basis, before coming back at full strength on Thursday.

It would be a surprise if Johnson is not active this weekend, barring a major setback.
