Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis left their game against the Carolina Panthers after he went down hard which resulted in a chest/shoulder injury.  Had the game been closer, Revis may have been able to come back into the game.  Revis is practicing today (Wednesday) and looks like he will be ready to play when they take on the Buffalo Bills this week.

Revis would likely spend much of the game covering Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson.  It is worth pointing out that Johnson has had a pretty good amount of success against Revis when Revis was a member of the New York Jets.  If the Bucs do have Revis on Johnson, it provides an opportunity for him to shut him down in a way he has not done so far in their head to head matchups.

Tampa had won three in a row before getting soundly beaten by the Panthers on the road, but they do have the Bills at home.  The result could be that Tampa gets back to their winning ways, getting their fourth win of the season and winning four of their last five.
