Buffalo Bills release RB Tashard Choice
By Mike Dyce
The Buffalo Bills have released veteran running back Tashard Choice. The Bills have one of the better run offenses in the league, in fact it ranks fourth in the league with an average of 139.2 yards per game.
The majority of that has come from the duo of C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Spiller has rushed for 126 yards on 35 carries, an average of 3.6 yards per carry.
A team desperate for a running back could reach out to Choice, maybe his former team the Dallas Cowboys who are looking for a complement to DeMarco Murray. They thought they found that in Lance Dunbar after a strong game on Thanksgiving Day but an injury has cut his season short.
“The move is likely designed to afford rookie running back Ronnie Wingo an opportunity to serve in the reserve role that Choice had previously occupied,” Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com writes.
