Stop me if you’ve heard this before. Actually, stop me if you’ve heard this about two hundred times – Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden missed practice.

That’s exactly what took place Wednesday afternoon when the Raiders hit the practice field without McFadden, who seemingly must have suffered some type of injury.

Oakland had been enough for an extended period thanks to their Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys, a game where McFadden finished things out as the ‘starter’ as Rashad Jennings went down late thanks to a concussion.

"Darren McFadden not at practice today. Might have aggravated hamstring vs. Cowboys."

The absence from practice does not appear to be an ‘excused’ one, thus he was kept out for precautionary injury purpose.

McFadden has been dealing with a hamstring injury, as mentioned above and we all know how lingering those can be, especially for a player like McFadden who is among the most injury prone in the league.

Oakland will update the status of McFadden and Jennings later in the week.
