Another day, another loss for the Milwaukee Bucks. This time, it was the Detroit Pistons who earned a 105-98 victory over the Bucks, who fall to 3-15 on the season.

The Pistons terrorized the Bucks down low. Center Andre Drummond had 24 points, 19 rebounds and three blocks, power forward Greg Monroe went for 18 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks and small forward Josh Smith chipped in with 17 points, six rebounds and three blocks as the Pistons improved to 9-10 on the season.

Forward Ersan Ilyasova had 22 points and 10 rebounds off of the bench to lead the Bucks.

Although the final score doesn’t make the game look ugly – it was. The Pistons shot 38.4% from the field while the Bucks knocked down 39.6% of their shots. The difference was the Pistons’ ability to get to the free throw line because of their extreme advantage in the front court. Although they only outscored the Bucks 48-46 in the paint, they got to the charity stripe 42 times, knocking down 32. The Bucks were just 17-of-22 from the free throw line.

The Pistons will get back to work Saturday when they head to Chicago to take on the Bulls while the Bucks will tangle with the Wizards in Washington Friday night.
