The Oakland Raiders were hopeful that running back Darren McFadden would be able to go on Sunday against the New York Jets, if Rashad Jennings is unable to recover from his concussion in time for their Week 14 match up.

However, now it is looking like there is no certainty that McFadden will be able to play on Sunday because his ankle injury is worse than initially expected.

From Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times:

There is still plenty of time for McFadden to get healthy enough to where he can play on Sunday, so we will have to monitor the situation closely throughout the rest of the week to see whether or not he will need to suit up.
