Fantasy Basketball: Top Performers from 12/4/13

Wednesday night was another jam-packed night of NBA action all across the country. Unfortunately, there was one fewer game than anticipated as generator problems cost the NBA and fantasy owners one game that was scheduled for outside the country in Mexico City. Of the games that did get played, here are the top fantasy performers who made their owners successful whether in daily or season-long leagues.

LaMarcus Aldridge-Portland Trail Blazers

Whether you buy into Portland as a legit Wester Conference contender or not, you can definitely see that Aldridge is emerging as that next level of talent. He dominated in a huge game last night finishing with a very nice, balances score sheet with 38 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, and two steals. Portland pulled out the big home win over the Thunder behind Aldridge and his fantasy owners most likely did as well.

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder

Durant also had a huge game in the Thunder’s defeat pouring in 33 points, 7 rebounds, a steal, a three-pointer made, and two blockes. Duran’ts shooting percentage was once again low (48%), but he poured it on the in the rest of the scoresheet made up for it.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons

Drummond has been a beast on the board this season and continued his rebounding domination last night. Drummond scored 24 points and added three blocks and two steals while grabbing 19 rebounds. He has an impressive 56 rebounds in his last three games and has been able to reach a double-double in 12 of his last 14 games.

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks

Millsap dropped 25 points last night and filled in the rest of the scoresheet with three blocks, a steal, six assists and nine boards. Millsap can stuff your scoresheet pretty thoroughly on a regular basis making him an underrated option since he plays in Atlanta.

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans

Holiday showed why the Pelicans traded for him this season scoring 26 points including four three-pointers. He added nine assists and four rebounds turning in another solid game with many facets which only boosts his fantasy value.

Ersan Ilyasova-Milwaukee Bucks

Ilyasova is a great addition, at this point, since the Bucks lost multiple members of their frontcourt due to injury. Ilyasova looked Wednesday like he may be ready to resume that role scoring 22 poitns with 10 rebounds, and assist, and a steal.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers

Thompson had a huge game dominating the paint against the visiting Nuggets in Cleveland. He finished with 17 points, 21 rebounds, an assist, and three blocks. He’s had big time double-doubles in his last few games and continues to be a solid big-man option in the NBA.

P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns

Tucker gets our sleeper pick of the day coming off a big game in Houston in which he scored 18 points with four steals, four assists, and six rebounds. Tucker is a scorer off teh bench and usually contributes minimal amounts in other categories as well.
