Fantasy kickers are always a fickle bunch, but for the next few weeks having a good one could make all the difference. Many fantasy owners stream kickers all season meaning they change them on a regular basis, sometimes even every week. Matchups and conditions are crucial for kicking, so make sure your thorough in checking your selection to put yourself in the best position. If you’re in the playoffs, every point can matter so check these five options who are set up for a good playoff run:

1. Mason Crosby-Green Bay Packers

Crosby has been known for years as one of the better kicker options and even with a few misses has still made 26 field goals this season four of which are over 50 yards. On Thanksgiving, he only made one FG which broke a string of five straight multi-FG games.

The Packers offense is still in flux, but will hopefully get Aaron Rodgers back which should turn it back into one of the better offenses in the league. If Rodgers returns, Crosby could reap some of the rewards since there will be more points produced overall.

This week, Crosby and the Pack face Atlanta which makes him a great play since the Falcons allow the most points to opposing kickers in the league. After this game, Green Bay plays at Dallas which is a good kicking environment, and he’ll finish against a pair of teams in the top-ten in most fantasy points to opposing kickers in Pittsburgh (7th-most) and at Chicago (4th-most). Whenever you have Crosby, you want to double-check the weather to make sure Green Bay won’t be playing in a blizzard or a wind-storm, but he is typically a pretty good option even in slightly inclement weather.
