The Florida State Seminoles are one win away from the BCS National Championship Game. To get to Pasadena, they’ll have to complete one more obstacle known as the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte.

However, if you haven’t paid close attention, it’s not against who you might have thought it would be.

David Cutcliffe has turned the Duke Blue Devils around so much this season that they’ve earned the right to play in the conference title game following an unprecedented 10-win season.

They’ve been able to make their way into the Top 25 and they come into this game ranked 20th in the country.

However, they also come into this game facing the best team in the country, which does not bode good things for the Devils.

Behind the tremendous efforts of Heisman front runner, redshirt freshman QB Jameis Winston, and a stifling defense, the Florida State Seminoles have obliterated their way through 2013. They’ve averaged a jaw-dropping 53.7 points per game this year, good for second in the country.

Defensively, they’ve been just as dominate. They held Clemson to just 14 points in Death Valley back in October and have given up an average of 11 on the entire season.

Date: Dec. 7

Start Time: 8 PM ET

Location: Charlotte, NC

Stadium: Bank of America Stadium

TV Info: ABC

Odds: Florida State -29

Prediction: There’s really not much to say about this one. Duke deserves all the credit in the world for getting to this point, but now they’re running into the ultimate buzzsaw that is this Seminoles squad.

As with just about everyone of their games this season, this one will be over and it will be over early, and the ‘Noles can then fully concentrate on the task at hand in Pasadena.

Final Score: Florida State 52, Duke 10
