There was a scary and unfortunate scene for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, during a snowy Week 14 match up against the Baltimore Ravens. Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was running for the sidelines, when he was pulled to the ground and had his legs caught under him.
Immediately, you could see the pain on Peterson’s face as he rolled around with a lower leg injury.
Minnesota carted Peterson off of the field and into the locker room, where they wasted no time getting an x-ray. Shortly after, reports had surfaced that Peterson was taken for an MRI as well.
It would be a devastating setback for Peterson if he was forced to miss the remainder of the season with another serious injury, but there has been no official word yet and we will have to wait and see what the team eventually announces.
