The third quarter has just gotten underway in Denver as the Broncos are currently in a bit of an unexpected dogfight against the 5-7 Tennessee Titans.

This is just one of those games where the Broncos may have to pull out all of the tricks that they have up their sleeves to take care of a pesky team that is fighting for respect as the season comes to a close.

However, the Broncos will have to continue this fight without one of Peyton Manning’s biggest weapons, as wide receiver Wes Welker has been officially ruled out of the game after suffering a concussion earlier on in the contest:

This is a huge blow to the team. Just as he was for Tom Brady in New England, Welker has been a go-to target for Peyton. Before he went out with the injury today, Welker had 61 yards on five catches with a touchdown.
