Colin Kaepernick intercepted by Byron Maxwell (GIF)

The Seattle Seahawks are trying to win the NFC West today with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Seattle currently trails the 49ers by two points in what has been one of the most hard fought games of the day. I’m sure this is exactly what everybody expected this game to be.
San Francisco looked as if they were setting themselves up to extend their lead over the division leaders. Starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick tried finding receiver Michael Crabtree near the end zone but apparently the ball was under thrown.
Corner-back Byron Maxwell who was sitting behind Crabtree was in perfect position to step in front of the pass and give the ball back to Seattle’s offense.
Maxwell tried to return the ball but was only able to pick up a couple yards after he scrambled to find some running room. Maxwell and this Seattle secondary became a nightmare for Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints during their 34-7 Thursday night victory.
Now they’re trying to survive this game in San Francisco and make sure their starters can rest during the final week of the regular season.
