Peyton Manning played the part in two teams clinching playoff spots today in the AFC.

Manning and the Broncos helped Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts clinch the AFC South by defeating the Tennessee Titans. Then they helped themselves clinch a playoff berth with a win over their own.

Right now Denver has the best record in the AFC and are in prime position to win the division in the next week or so. They’re in a tough race for not only the division crown, but that must have number one seed and home field advantage that comes along with a first round bye. If you can lock up all of these, you’re team is set.

Even though they lost in the divisional round of the playoffs last year after doing so, but they’re a completely different machine this season. Denver trailed the Titans by the score of 21-10 before the second half but slowly got the ball rolling.

They’re going to have to tighten up on both sides of the ball as they can’t afford to be falling behind as much as they have the last couple of weeks. It’s great to have a come from behind victory, but I’m sure they would much rather have some convincing wins.

Next up, the Broncos host the San Diego Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
