The New York football Giants were looking as if they were finally turning things around ever since they lost against the Chicago Bears back on October 10th.
New York has managed to with the last five of their six games and needed a win against San Diego to keep their playoff hopes alive. Well from the looks of things, the Giants will be playing for pride the last three games of the season.
Starting quarterback Eli Manning is having one of the worst seasons of his career as he only has 16 touchdowns but has thrown 19 interceptions.
Eli and company were trailing the San Diego Chargers by the score of 31-7 in the fourth quarter. That was until the Giants were able to put together an 11 play, 86 yard touchdown drive that featured a five yard touchdown pass from Manning to tight end Brandon Myers.
Myers was listed as questionable before heading into this game but was able to give it a go. They needed all hands on deck to be on the same page, especially with running back Brandon Jacobs being out.
