The New York Giants headed out west on Sunday for a match up with a similar record to theirs at 5-7, the San Diego Chargers.

One team is going to walk away from this one with their sixth win on the season, and so far the San Diego Chargers are making the best effort in getting that done.

Aside from the San Diego defense keeping the Giants out of the end zone in the first half, the offense has more than done their part, especially Philip Rivers and Keenan Allen.

In the second quarter, Rivers and Allen hooked up for their second touchdown of the game, this four-yard strike in the back of the end zone, to extend the Chargers’ lead to 17-0 over the guys from the Big Apple:

That hook up was the second of the game for this combination, following a 43-yard scoring play in the first quarter of the game.

So far, it looks like San Diego will have no problem cruising to that sixth victory over the struggling Giants.
