Seattle’s offense is starting to get things rolling after not being able to put up any points in the first quarter of this NFC West showdown.

Russell Wilson is making a very solid case for himself when it comes to MVP honors at the end of the season. The young quarterback has turned doubters into believers within the last couple seasons and is now focused on reaching the playoffs once again in his second year.

So far today Wilson has completed 8/11 for 144 passing yards and one touchdown. His only touchdown strike so far today went to tight end Luke Willson who was left wide open. He managed to break one tackle before turning up the field and eventually finding his way into the end zone.

Right now the Seahawks currently lead the San Francisco 49ers 14-9 with the 49ers driving down field. Seattle has a hold of the number one seed in the NFC.

They could lock up the division and number one seed with a win today.
