The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers rivalry has intensified over the last couple of seasons as the two teams have improved. Earlier in the season when the two teams met, the Seahawks dominated the 49ers, but wide receiver Michael Crabtree promised things will be different this time.

Now it’s different.  New day, new game,” Crabtree said Friday, via Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News.

“I can’t wait to go out there and do what I can do,” Crabtree said. “This week is a big week for us. With that [11-1] record, you’re supposed to be the top team in the NFL.  We’ll see on Sunday.”

CSN Bay Area has the details:

"A group consisting of 100 contributors have pooled together $1,809 to fly the banner that will read, “GO HAWKS-12” for 15 minutes. The airplane towing the banner is expected to reach Candlestick Park 10 minutes prior to kickoff of the Seahawks-49ers game. Seahawks fans Cedric James Morris and Travis Platt created a FundRazr account to come up with the resources and already have made $509 more than their initial goal."
