The NFC West showdown has entered the second quarter with the 49ers on top of the Seahawks by the score of 16-14.

San Francisco started the game off with six points from two field goals from veteran kicker Phil Dawson.  They were able to set up a 23 yard field goal after a blocked punt by Kassim Osgood early in the first.

They were able to bounce back from a Marshawn Lynch touchdown that was later followed by a 39 yard touchdown reception by Luke Willson.

San Francisco was looking to just add points on the board before they opened up the second half with the football. Staring quarterback Colin Kaepernick was able to find his targets down field, who eventually found wide receiver Anquan Boldin for a huge reception that helped move the chains.

It was a play that helped set up this scoring drive which was capped off by an eight yard touchdown pass to tight end Vernon Davis.

San Francisco is hoping to walk away with a victory and staying alive in the hunt for the NFC West.
