Despite dealing with a lingering calf injury which forced missed practice time last week, Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush was slated to start in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

All was going well until pre-game warm ups when Bush reportedly slipped on the heavy snow, re-aggravating the calf injury.

Bush, despite being in full uniform, never took the field after the slip and given he’s one of the more injury prone players in the league, there was concern Bush’s injury could linger into the coming weeks. Head coach Jim Schwartz doesn’t seem to think so however as he deemed Bush ‘day-to-day’ in his Monday morning press conference:

"Ziggy Ansah (shoulder) and Reggie Bush (calf) are day-to-day."

The Lions will likely give Bush quite a bit of rest during the week and maybe only practice him enough to see if he’s capable for their Week 15 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, which thankfully takes place on Monday night, giving Bush an extra day of rest and recovery.
