There were a lot of interesting match ups this weekend. In the NFC South the Carolina Saints and New Orleans Saints squared off in a game that determined the second seed in the NFC conference. In the NFC  West, the San Francisco 49ers took on Seattle Seahawks in a rivalry game.

Then games across the country, mainly in the mid-Atlantic region, were playing through incredible snow storms. During the Detroit Lions game against the Philadelphia Eagles there was eight inches of snow on the field.

With a weekend that was filled with crunch-time wins, that means there were heroes and clutch players. We’ve ranked the clutch performances once again this week. For our clutch power rankings, we go on a week to week basis. It is not cumulative, the slate is wiped clean every week.

": happening during a very important or critical time especially in a sports competition : able to perform well in a very important or critical situation especially in a sports competition : made or done in a crucial situation  : successful in a crucial situation"
