New Orleans ranks 6th in the NFL, giving up 19.2 points per game.  The Saints rank 4th against the pass at 206.7 yards per contest and 16th against the rush, giving up 113.2.

In addition to the win, moving into sole possession of 1st place in the division and the Ryan impersonator providing some chuckles for fans, New Orleans’ quarterback Drew Brees surpassed the 50,000 yard mark, becoming just the 5th player in NFL history to do so.

So, it was a party all the way around on Sunday night in New Orleans, for the team and the fans.

Ryan spent 5 seasons as the defensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders from 2004 to 2008 and one in the same position with the Dallas Cowboys in 2012 before moving on to New Orleans this season.

He has worked for Art Shell, Lane Kiffin, Norv Turner, Jason Garrett and now Sean Payton.  The Saints travel to the St. Louis Rams next Sunday before traveling to play at Carolina the following week.
