The Houston Texans are having a terrible season after entering the year with Super Bowl hopes and the losing is beginning to take it’s toll on the players. Texans running back Ben Tate said that the team is letting “everyone down” after their latest loss, but he also had some interesting comments that followed.

Tate is set to become a free agent after the season, so when he was asked if he would like to return to the team he could have brought some relief and happiness to the fan base. Unfortunately, he said that he isn’t sure what he wants to do and it looks like he may want out.

“That’s something I can’t really answer right now,” Tate said, via the Houston Chronicle. “Just the fact so many things are going to change once the season’s over — different head coaches, different people fired everywhere else. That’s something I haven’t really thought about yet. That’s something I’ll probably think about after the next three weeks.”

It’s going to be interesting to see where Tate ends up next year, but it looks like he won’t mind what the result is.

Most players are quick to say they would like to return to the team they are playing for, but when you have lost nine straight you look at things very differently.
