The Detroit Lions are really struggling to get and stay healthy this season.  After a loss in the bizarre blizzard game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Lions and Chicago Bears both have a 7-6 record atop the NFC North.  The Lions do hold the tie-breaker over the Bears after beating them in both games this year, so if the playoffs started today, the Lions would win the division.  The Lions host the Baltimore Ravens this week while the Bears play the Cleveland Browns.

Lions beat writer Chris McCosky lays out just how many players that are unavailable for the Lions Thursday.  The good news, if there is any good news is the Lions and Ravens do not play until Monday, but one of their best players on offense and a significant amount of talent on defense is unable to practice.

This is a huge game for the Ravens as they are two games behind the Cinncinati Bengals in the AFC North and are likely fighting for the second wild card spot and the sixth seed in the AFC.
