The Baltimore Ravens offensive line is facing a tough match up on Monday Night Football, when they take on the talented Detroit Lions defensive line in Week 15. There are many people who say the Lions are filled with dirty players along the offensive line, but the Ravens view things differently.

Ravens offensive linemen A.Q. Shipley and Gino Gradkowski spoke about the Lions defensive front and said that they respect the  way that they play and they are excited for the challenge.

I love the way he plays,” Shipley said of Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. “He plays hard and he plays passionate. You can’t fault a guy for doing that. He goes hard every play, and if he gets called for a penalty, I don’t think he’s worried about it. You’ve got to respect that about him.”

Gradkowski echoed those thoughts, by saying that he thinks the Lions just give a hard effort.

“I think they just play hard,” Gradkowski said. “Sometimes it can be misconstrued as dirty. But it’s hard to say because I don’t know him personally and I haven’t faced him yet.”

We will have to see if the Ravens feel the same after going toe-to-toe with Detroit, but they are ready for the challenge mentally regardless of how things may play out on Monday night.
