The Detroit Tigers may have gotten bounced from the American League playoffs in the ALCS but that’s not stopping them from having a good time in the offseason. One player in particular is having a great offseason as life continues to get better and better for ace pitcher Max Scherzer. Not only was Scherzer named the AL Cy Young award winner, but he was recently seen posing with some different hardware.

Scherzer tweeted out a picture of himself posing with the WWE championship belt, which both shows us that Scherzer has fans in the WWE and he himself is a fan of professional wrestling.

It’s clear that the Tigers pitcher is enjoying his hard earned time in the spotlight. He was lights out with Detroit last season and despite trade rumors that he could be moved to a different team, Scherzer is living the good life during the few down months he gets. The only quest for the pitcher now seems to be getting yet another piece of hardware to pose with, as the World Series trophy is quickly becoming the only trophy Scherzer can’t seem to be seen with.
