Dwight Howard makes three-pointer, teammates go crazy (Video)

Houston Rockets big man Dwight Howard has played nine plus NBA seasons. In that near decade span, Howard had attempted 39 three-point field goals. He had converted on just two of those attempts. But that changed on Friday night when the Rockets took on the Golden State Warriors and Howard converted on this third career make, sending his teammates into a frenzy.
With the shot clock running down, Howard leaked out to the three-point line, hoping he’d give James Harden enough room to penetrate into the lane. But the defense cut Harden off and with no place to go, the swingman passed the ball out to a wide open Howard.
Understanding he had no time to pass, Howard fired up a bomb from behind the arc and his prayer was answered, not only shocking the announce team but his teammates as well.
The bucket sent the Rockets’ bench into hysterics while Howard made his way back down the court, holding three fingers in the air as if it was no big deal.
The make was just the second time Howard had hit a three point shot in the past seven seasons.
