Remember the kids from Bridgewater, Mass., who stood up for their friend who was being bullied? A first grader name Danny Keefe suffered a brain hemorrhage shortly after he was born. That resulted in some speech issues, but despite his speech problems he has a sense of style.

His classmates might be too young to recognize it though, but Keefe likes to dress in a suit and tie when he helps the fifth grade boy’s football team by playing the role of water boy. The football team he supports found out that Keefe was getting bullied and decided to send a message in a positive way.

“We heard Danny that was getting picked on, so we thought we would all have a day to all dress up like Danny,” a tearful fifth grader named Tommy said at the time.  “To show Danny that we love him, that we love him very much.”

Danny and Tommy appeared on The Ellen Degeneres showed had the kids on her show and they got a surprise from a local hero, Tom Brady quarterback of the New England Patriots. Brady gave the boys tickets and pre-game field passes to the team’s final game of the season against the Buffalo Bills. Patriots owner Robert Kraft gave the boys and the entire Bridgewater football team tickets to the Patriots’ Hall of Fame.
