The St. Louis Rams are currently in a tough match up against one of the highest scoring offenses in the NFL.

In a match up that will see New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees eventually airing it out, the Rams are going to need to match this team point for point. They got off to a great start, but were assisted by this New Orleans Saints after they displayed poor tackling. In a way, they sorta looked like the Chicago Bears defense on that play.

That sorta hurts to say considering I’m a Chicago Bears fan, but it’s true.

Veteran quarterback Kellen Clemens was able to find big man tight end Cory Harkey near the sidelines which looked like it would be enough to move the chains. But like I mentioned earlier in this article, the Saints defense were unable to stop him. The Saints had three opportunities to get him out of bounds but whiffed on every chance to do so.

That’s not how you want to start off a game. They need to straighten up, or they’ll be in for a rude awakening.
