The uncertainty surrounding the Washington Redskins coaching staff is at an all-time high. Not only does head coach Mike Shanahan not know if he’ll be coming back next season, but the vast majority of the coaching staff reportedly feels as if they’ll be let go when the Redskins season ends.

One coach who is moving on before he’s fired is the son of Mike Shanahan, Kyle, who according to Ian Rapoport no longer wants to work for his father:

"On #Redskins from #NFLGameDay: Kyle Shanahan decided it is no longer worth it to work with his father. Expect him on his own path next year"

The younger Shanahan allegedly wasn’t all that thrilled when the elder decided to bench RGIII and given the turmoil surrounding the team and his father, it makes sense Kyle would prefer to move on.

I’m sure the idea of working with your father seemed intriguing at first, but I can’t imagine it’s very much fun once the newness wears off.
