ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan plans on returning in 2014. That means he will not be resigning from his position as head coach.

There has been some reports of disagreements between Shanahan and Redskins owner Dan Snyder. One of the conditions is that Shanahan gets to coach the team the way he wants to.

Schefter is also reporting that the Redskins will not attempt to fire Shanahan and withhold the $7 million he is due in 2014. There were reports that could be a course of action in the offseason.
