The Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons are duking it out for a win. Both teams had successful 2012 campaigns but their 2013 seasons haven’t gone as expected. Both team came into this game with a 3-10 record.
The Falcons got a big lead at home first, but the Redskins pulled closer in the second half. Quarterback Kirk Cousins, who is replacing Robert Griffin III who has been benched, threw a 53-yard pass to Pierre Garcon.
He was wide open after beating his man and took it into the end zone without being touched. It looks like he even got a helpful block from a Falcons player on a Falcons player. The touchdown narrowed the lead to three points.
