Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys are looking to get things together after a disappointing Monday Night loss against the Chicago Bears almost a week ago.
Romo and the Cowboys passing offense didn’t make that much noise against Chicago’s defense after scoring the first points of the game. Today they take on Chicago’s division rivals, the Green Bay Packers. A team that is currently without Aaron Rodgers.
The Cowboys need a win today in order to tie the Philadelphia Eagles at the top of the NFC East. With the Minnesota Vikings taking down the first place Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys could be doing Chicago a favor by knocking off the Packers along with helping themselves.
Green Bay is now a full game out of first place behind the Chicago Bears, so right now the Bears are cheering for the team they picked apart on Monday.
Before Romo hooked up with Witten for six points, the kickers on these squads were responsible for the nine points that started off the game.
Romo is currently 9 of 13 for 133 passing yards and one touchdown.
