Al Horford scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out five assists, leading a balanced Atlanta Hawks’ attack to a 114-100 win over the Los Angeles Lakers Monday night.

Paul Millsap (18 points), Jeff Teague (17), Mike Scott (14), DeMarre Carroll (13) and Kyle Korver (11) also scored in double figures for the Hawks.

The Lakers were led by Nick Young, who scored a game-high 23 points. Jordan Hill had 21 points and nine rebounds, Pau Gasol scored 16 points and pulled down 10 boards and Xavier Henry scored 18 points.

Kobe Bryant continued to struggled in his return from a torn Achilles. Bryant had just eight points on four-of-14 shooting, attempted just one free throw and turned the ball over five times.

The Lakers allowed the Hawks to shoot 45-of-92 from the field (48.9%) and 11-of-27 from beyond the arc (40.7%), which caused Lakers’ head coach Mike D’Antoni to criticize his team’s defense after the game.

D’Antoni also questioned his team’s effort in the second half. After outscoring the Hawks 54-47 in the first 24 minutes, the Lakers were outscored 67-46 in the second half.

The Hawks improve to 13-12 while the Lakers fall to 11-13.
