The Dallas Cowboys have been struggling all season long with injuries and it doesn’t look like it is going to get any better down the stretch in two crucial final games. The Cowboys were missing seven players from practice, and there were some important players on the list.

The group was headlined defensive end DeMarcus Ware and middle linebacker Sean Lee. Head coach Jason Garrett felt like Ware could’ve been a bigger contributor on Sunday, but didn’t understand why he wasn’t.

“Well, when you look at the tape there were some opportunities in one-on-one pass rush situation where he could have gotten home,” Garrett said, via the Dallas Morning News. “We’ll continue to look at why that’s happening.  Sometimes he was getting some attention because there is a tight end or back or whatever. But he had some one-on-one looks he didn’t get home on.”

It looks like he might not be fully healed.

List of seven players:

  • DeMarcus Ware (quad/thigh), DE
  • George Selvie (back), DE
  • Sean Lee (neck), MLB
  • Morris Claiborne (hamstring), CB
  • Terrance Williams (hamstring), WR
  • Dwayne Harris (hamstring),WR/KR
  • Ernie Sims (hip), LB
